Joplin Renters beware
The property manager is completely crazy. If you think you will have a moments peace it won't likely happen while you live in any of the property located between 17th and 18th Street (the wrought iron block). Jackie/ Linda will sign you into a lease agreement with no intention of being reasonable as landlords. Most tenants will never complete a lease because they will bully you until you leave. Or kick you out for breaking any of the arbitrary rules they have. No visitors, no smoking, no pets ( lease say two pet limits, but no cats). Some properties have pets, if you don't answer the door they will return with their own keys to let themselves in (despite what they tell you). Cameras are all over the place. I was never convinced they weren't in the unit that I rented. Joplin renters steer away from renting anything in this block. The turnover is so high because they are in the business of churning the deposit and every penny they can...
